WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The webinar is primarily intended for various actors and representatives from Paying Agencies of all EU Member States and candidate Member States. It constitutes an ideal opportunity for all Paying Agencies to share experiences, discuss and grasp the DIONE Toolbox as a possible solution to common issues in implementing the modernized Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) monitoring.
The event is also open to other relevant stakeholders aiming to foster advice and innovation in agriculture including farm advisory services and control and certification bodies.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Within the context of the DIONE Project, an integrated EO-based toolbox will be designed and developed aiming to address the modernised CAP regulation of using automated technologies to ensure more frequent, accurate and inexpensive compliance checks. Through the integration of improved EO capacities with various data sets, such as drones, soil sensors, and mobile applications, the DIONE Toolbox delivers clear economic value to key targeted customers estimating to lower administrative and operational costs to 30% of the current ones related to CAP area-based compliance checks and assessment of respective environmental impacts.

• Promoting and showcasing all prospects of DIONE Toolbox;
• Discussing various operational and business aspects related to emerging technologies in the field of CAP area – based monitoring;
• Identifying opportunities to develop synergies with current initiatives and works.
