DIONE Spatial Data Infrastructure

Data Catalogue

All the information about data produced by DIONE components, which are marked as openly-available, will be available in DIONE Data Catalogue. These data are managed by a Spatial Data Infrastructure that aims to ensure compliance with FAIR (Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable) data policies that govern the usage of data during the course of the project and beyond.

The catalogue is built using GeoNetwork - free and open-source cataloguing application for spatially referenced resources and makes sure that standards for spatial metadata are followed strictly - ISO19115/119/110. Access to the metadata catalogue is currently available to the users of DIONE Toolbox, but in the next steps, metadata will be contributed/published to the GEOSS platform, so that the products of DIONE would be available globally.
